The Workers’ Compensation
Advisory Council approved the
following benefit increases for all injuries
occurring on or after October 1, 2008:
Maximum compensation rate
increased by $100.00
to $850.00(Average Gross Weekly Wage = $1,275.00)
Statutory cap on temporary total disability (TTD) benefits
increased from
104 to 130 weeks.
Extended the time frame for injured
workers to request
retraining from 156 week of combined temporary total and
temporary partial disability (TTD/TPD) to 208
weeks.
Maximum hourly rate for QRC’s
(Qualified Rehabilitation
Consultant) increased to $91.00 and $81.00 for interns.

Workers' Compensation Benefit Increases
The "First Report of Injury" form has been updated as of May,
2008. Please
discard your old First Report of Injury forms and begin using the new form
which can be found on our website under the Client Center Icon.
