Frustrating Issues with Contracts and Clients (1.5 CE Credits)

Barbara Sable – Assistant Vice President, Professional Services Group

Barbara Sable is Assistant Vice President for RLI’s Professional Services Group. Barb is responsible for developing the content of RLI’s risk management programs and addressing the day-to-day needs of RLI’s policyholders. She provides face-to-face seminars, webinars, contract reviews, policy analysis, and insurance program guidance to our insureds and brokers. Prior to joining RLI, Barb was an equity partner in a national insurance brokerage firm, serving the needs of that firm’s largest architecture and engineering clients. Before that, she was an executive with Victor O. Schinnerer, where she was responsible for underwriting and risk management for numerous a/e firms worldwide. She began her career with CNA Insurance Companies as an actuarial and financial analyst.

Workers’ Compensation and Loss Control Issues facing Design Professionals (1.5 CE Credits)

Troy Johnson – Loss Prevention Supervisor, Kraus-Anderson Insurance

Troy has been a safety professional since 1988. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin‐Stout, with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, and a Master’s Degree in Safety. Troy is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and has both the ARM and ALCM designations. He is an OSHA Construction Outreach Instructor and maintains his contractor license.

Deb Mueller – Claim Manager, Kraus-Anderson Insurance

Deb has been with Kraus‐Anderson Insurance for nineteen years and has over thirty years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Kraus‐Anderson Insurance, she was a workers’ compensation unit manager at OHMS, a division of the Rocky Mountain Health Care Corporation. In addition, she has worked as a workers’ compensation claim supervisor and claim handler for all lines of commercial insurance. She is knowledgeable in workers’ compensation laws throughout the United States. Deb has earned the following designations: CWCS (Certified Work Comp Specialist) and PRIS (Property Risk Insurance Specialist).

Hope Trepanier – COMPTROL Service Manager, Kraus-Anderson Insurance

Hope has been with Kraus‐Anderson Insurance for seven years and has eleven years of experience in the insurance industry. She is knowledgeable in workers’ compensation and overall experience mod reduction. Hope has earned the following designations: CWCS (Certified Work Comp Specialist) and CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative).
